|TAKAFUL IKHLAS LAUNCHES “CHOICEPLUS” PRODUCT|

As an effort to enhance the services offered to the public, Takaful IKHLAS, a Shariah-based financial protection service provider, launched a comprehensive Group Hospitalization & Surgical product known as ChoicePlus today. The product was officially launched by Encik Sharkawi Alis, Chairman of Takaful Ikhlas Sdn Bhd.
ChoicePlus is designed for companies to cover their employees against hospital and surgical expenses in a number of panel hospitals and clinics nationwide.
Encik Ab Latiff Abu Bakar, President & Chief Executive Officer of Takaful IKHLAS said , "ChoicePlus is open to all companies with more than 10 employees. Companies may take up ChoicePlus as their medical and health protection plan. It is capable of offering protection to employees up to 75 years of age and the coverage can be extended to their spouse and children".
He added, "ChoicePlus is the right solution for a comprehensive medical health care plan to all employers in Malaysia. It takes care of the employees who are important assets of an organisation. Considering that the contribution for the protection is affordable, we hope that all employers in Malaysia will grab the opportunity provided by ChoicePlus for their employees".
"We believe that ChoicePlus is capable of increasing the company's contribution earnings. We are targeting an annual contribution of RM66.5 million from ChoicePlus with the participation of more than 70,000 members and 200 companies", said Ab Latiff.
Besides providing medical protection, ChoicePlus also manages the wellness of its participants by conducting Health Care or Wellness Programmes such as health talks, medical checkups and health campaigns. In addition, 'Daycare' facility is also available to the participants which enables patients to continue getting the treatment needed through day care.
ChoicePlus is supported by its Medical Advisory Board (MAB) which consists of a team of specialists from the medical industry who will provide the participants with advise and latest information on treatment and medical cost.
