Etiqa brought joy to over 250 residents of Madrasah Darul Furqan through the Corporate Responsibility Program (CZR) at Sentul on the 24th of March last month. In line with humanizing takaful and insurance, this time around Etiqa donated MYR 300,000 (USD 94,921) for their new building at Sepang.

Before the program started, the students were served with breakfast to give them energy to join the activities later on. The program in Madrasah Darul Furqan, started with a simple mock cheque ceremony to Darul Furqan and the other two recipients: Pusat Jagaan Psiaku Azwar with a total of MYR 45,149 (USD 14,285) and PKDP Permata Hatiku KL & Selangor with a total of MYR 104, 537 (USD 33,076).

The mock cheque was presented by Encik Jalil Khadri, Regional CEO for KL Region.

The activities started at 10.00 am where the kids and Etiqans were grouped into teams. There was much laughter and fun as they tried to learning and outdo the other teams by playing the giant-sized games of snakes & ladders, jenga, pickup sticks, on target and many other exciting games.

The whole program ended at around 2.00 pm with a modest prize giving ceremony. All teams received hampers for their effort. Right before leaving the madrasah, a quick photo session was held with all the kids and Etiqans.
