35 asnaf (zakat recipients) children from Selangor received the contribution from Takaful Ikhlas Sdn. Bhd. (Takaful IKHLAS) for them to make preparation for the coming Syawal at AEON Bukit Tinggi, Klang. The program enables the less fortunate children to have the shopping experience at the Shopping Mall like other kids.

Senior Vice President Corporate Services, Takaful IkhlasSdnBhd, YushidaHusinsays, "We have allocated a shopping budget of MYR 250 (USD 80) to each of these poor and needy children to fulfill their needs and wishes of getting few pairs of new clothes and shoes. We hope by organizing such program, these children will be able to celebrate an enjoyable and blessed Eidul Fitri. In addition, the company wishes to thank the Selangor Zakat Council for their willingness to cooperate with us in making the Jom Beli Baju Raya Program and fast-breaking event during this Ramadhan a success".

Takaful IKHLAS also handed over money packets of MYR 100 (USD 32) to the poor and needy children. Throughout the Jom Beli Baju Raya program, Takaful IKHLAS staffs are given the responsibility to accompany and assist the children to choose their raya clothes, looking after them and break fast with them during the Iftar Ceremony at the Premiere Hotel. Moreover, Takaful IKHLAS plans to extend the Jom Beli Baju Raya Program all over the country to include many more less fortunate children from the poor and needy families.

Yushida Husinalso expresses his gratitude and satisfaction as the Jom Beli Baju Raya program and the iftar ceremony at the hotel is still continued like the previous years and the less fortunate children are able to feel and enjoy the festivity in celebrating Syawal like other children.

The children's happy faces and their excitement during the shopping session makes us at Takaful IKHLAS really pleased," said Yushida Husin.
